Experience and Enjoy the ‘Inside Out’ LGBTQ Film Festival in Toronto, Ontario!
Back in 1991, our film festival for the LGBTQ community, coined ‘Inside Out’ celebrated its very first run with a small community of persons who greatly desired to see film and video created about and by members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community. Over two decades later, the festival has grown in scope and size with attendance numbers rising to the point of becoming the largest event of its kind in all of Canada, as well as one of the top five LGBTQ film festivals anywhere in the world. In 2009 Inside Out was thrilled to welcome the RBC Royal Bank as the Presenting Sponsor for our festival and in 2011, the festival moved its screening venue to the top of the line TIFF Bell Lightbox, enabling the attendance to grow again, with more people able to enjoy these works of art and culture. Media coverage and industry presence also grew as a result of the move, and Inside Out’s reputation has been solidified as an international leader in film and video for the LGBTQ community.
